What is Viagra Tablets in Pakistan?

Viagra tablets are used to treat male sexual dysfunction (impotence or erectile dysfunction – ED). When combined with sexual stimulation, Viagra Tablets increases blood flow to the penis and helps a man get and maintain an erection. This medication does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, and syphilis). Practice “safer sex” like using latex condoms. How to use Viagra Tablets?

Read the patient information leaflet, if available from your pharmacist, before you start taking Viagra Tablets in Pakistan and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

To treat erectile dysfunction (ED), take this medication as directed by your doctor, usually as needed. Take Viagra Tablets at least 30 minutes but no more than 4 hours before sexual activity (1 hour before is most effective). Do not take more than once daily.

The dosage is based on your medical condition, response to treatment, and other medications you may be taking. Be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).

Side Effects

Dizziness, headaches, hot flashes, or stomach problems may occur. Vision problems such as increased sensitivity to light, blurred vision, or problems distinguishing blue and green colors may also occur. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, stand up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.

Remember that you have been prescribed this medication because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people who take this medication do not experience serious side effects.

Sexual activity can put additional strain on your heart, especially if you have heart problems. If you have heart problems and experience any of these serious side effects during sex, stop immediately and get medical help: severe dizziness, fainting, chest/jaw/left arm pain, nausea.

Precautions

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: heart problems (such as heart attack or life-threatening irregular heartbeat in the last 6 months, chest pain/angina, heart failure), stroke in the last 6 months, kidney disease, liver disease, high or low blood pressure, dehydration, penile disorders (such as angulation, fibrosis/scarring, Peyronie’s disease), history of painful/persistent erections (priapism), medical conditions that may increase the risk of priapism (e.g. sickle cell disease, Leukemia, multiple myeloma), eye problems (e.g. retinitis pigmentosa, sudden loss of vision, NAION).

During pregnancy, Viagra Tablets should only be used if clearly necessary. Because high blood pressure in the lungs is a serious condition that can harm both a pregnant woman and her unborn child, you should not stop taking this medication without your doctor’s advice. If you are planning to become pregnant, become pregnant, or think you may be pregnant, talk to your doctor about the benefits and risks of using Viagra Tablets.

Do not use Viagra Tablets with any of the following medications: certain medications used to treat chest pain/angina (nitrates such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide), recreational drugs called “poppers” that contain amyl nitrate, amyl nitrite, or butyl nitrite.

Do not take this medication with other products that contain Viagra Tablets or similar medications for erectile dysfunction (ED) or pulmonary hypertension (such as Cialis Tablets, and Black Cobra Tablets).
